Yoga for everybody! Modifications are a great way to experiment with what works for your body at a level that is right for you. Here are two variations on Plough to Boat. The first series is more advanced, and the second series offers more protection for the back and less complexity.

Plough pose can help relieve back pain by stretching the spine and shoulders.👍 Release tension, stretch and strengthen the posterior chain, while calming the mind. 🌈

Boat pose works the abdominals, helping to build core strength, while engaging the hip flexors and helping improve balance. 🙌

Chicken Chili for family dinner with the Abuelos. This was a great way to incorporate pantry staples with some nutrient dense ingredients. 🙌 I chopped, and the kiddos had a blast dumping them in the slow cooker. Set it on high for 3 hours, shred the chicken, and squeeze lots of lime! Whatever is on your plate for dinner tonight- Buen Provecho.

Here’s what I used:
* Chicken thighs (trim fat)
* Bell Peppers
* Celery
* Onion
* Corn
* Tomato Purée (no salt)
* Broth (no salt)
* Black beans, kidney beans, cannelloni beans
* Cumin, Chili Powder, Oregano, Pepper
* LIME!

Child care is now available during our fitness classes at the Heathrow Athletic Club! Woohoo!! Walk-ins welcome.$10 per child/$5 per additional child. So if you have little ones at home, you can drop them off at Club Kidz and head next door to class. 🙌It’s a win win! It also includes extra time, so you can grab a snack/early lunch before you have to pick them up👍 You’ll probably see my boys there too from time to time 💙😉

Club Kidz Education Program begins February. Tuesday-Friday 8:30am-12pm.

* Camel
* 3 legged dog to pigeon
* Sun Salutation
* Hip Hinge + Rotation
* Dynamic Warrior I
* Warrior III
* Butterfly to extension
* Plough
* Spinal Twist
* Meditation

We had a group of strong women start their morning with a 25 min class. We began focusing on; mind, body, and breath. The best part is that we moved alongside each other, virtually, from the comfort, and convenience of our own homes. 🙌 Come join our small group classes for motivation, coaching, and variety in your workout. uick, easy, nutrient dense dinner for the family. 🙌 I love the slow cooker because it is convenient, simple to use, and offers hands off cooking. 👍. I always throw in extra veggies. It’s a great way to get essential nutrients, and in a way in which my kids will eat them! 😂. Whatever is on your plate for dinner tonight- Buen Provecho!
