This Sunday, we had such a great time! We started with an energizing class led by Cassidy and followed it with an insightful talk by Dr. Dina on how posture, something so instinctive and part of our daily lives that is deeply connected to pelvic floor health.

To be loved is to be seen,
and this Christmas,
I felt known and loved.

I received two thoughtful gifts from my sons, a Ratatouille mouse and a beautiful purse. A purse like this is perfect for me to match with my outfits, I will be getting so much use out of it!
And Ratatouille? It’s my favorite movie and my favorite ride at Disney.

These gifts have me feeling deeply grateful, and they made me reflect on how I work.

How Do we treat Low Back Pain(LBP)?

A Holistic Approach to Lasting Lower Back Pain Relief:

At Advanced Pelvic Solutions, we believe in addressing the root causes of lower back pain (LBP) not just masking the symptoms.
In your very first session,
We assess and treat the key areas that commonly contribute to lower back stress and dysfunction:
1- 🕴️Assess your posture and see how your posture could be related to your back pain, which in many cases is a source of your back pain.
2. 🦵Back Range of Motion & Lower Leg Strength, we start by evaluating your back’s mobility and the strength of your lower legs.
These areas often reveal where tightness and weakness are placing excess load on your lower back.

When the gluteal muscles are weak, your back is forced to overcompensate especially if the lower legs are also underperforming.
This chain reaction leads to chronic strain and discomfort.

3 & 4. 📚Diaphragm and Abdominal Muscle Tightness. Your core is more than just abs; it includes the diaphragm and deep abdominal muscles.
When these are tight or restricted, they increase pressure on the back muscles. In fact, up to 90% of lower back pain is relieved once the diaphragm and abdominal tension is released.
This is a game changer for many of our patients.

5. 🎬Pelvic Floor Muscle Release: The pelvic floor is a powerful, often overlooked contributor to back pain.
It spans from the tailbone to the p***c bone, and when tight, it pulls the tailbone forward, adding significant tension to the lower back. Releasing these muscles can lead to immediate and lasting relief by eliminating that deep, internal pull.
