We provide quality sports medicine services to our community, and serve as a teaching facility for the allied healthcare services we provide

Founded in Orlando, Florida in February of 1997, Sport Specific Training Group (SST) provides sports medicine and sports performance services to individuals of all levels and abilities. The original concept was to teach young athletes how to improve their performance. As we conducted camps and clinics throughout Central Florida, it became apparent to us that there was a need for a quality sports medicine component to compliment the programs we were already offering. Our first clinic opened in December of 1998 and this south Orlando location has since expanded to over 8000 square feet and includes a high-quality turf surface for functional and performance training. We recently opened a new clinic within the D1 sports training facility in Lake Mary, Florida as part of this 24,000 square foot sports performance/sports medicine complex.

Please note: our clinic will be closed for the rest of the week so we can also spend time with friends and family, but we will see you in December.

Congratulations to Noah Harmon for his performance at the Michelin Raceway Road to Atlanta. This was Noah’s rookie season competing in the Mazda MX-5 Cup Series; and his 2nd place performance in the final race of the weekend moved him up to 2nd place in the overall Rookie of the Year standings. Noah is part of the BSI Racing team and we wish him and his team continued success in the upcoming 2026 season. 🏁🏎️🏆

🏎️🏎️🏎️🏁 2025 Motul Petit LeMans 🏁🏎️🏎️🏎️
This past weekend, our therapist, Mike Henkleman provided on-site sports medicine care for WTR team for 3 races during the 2025 season; and provided services for both WTR and Action Express Racing teams during the event this past weekend. The 2025 IMSA season was a great experience for SST Rehab and WTR was a fantastic organization to work with. SST wants to congratulate WTR on their successes during the 2025 season and wish them all the best as they prepare for their 2026 campaign.

This was a good race weekend for Cadillac Racing as 4 cars participated in the 2025 Motul Petit LeMans at the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta this past week. It culminated with the Petit LeMans,10-hour endurance race on Saturday, October 11th. The prototype GTP event was won by the #31 Cadillac Whelen car from Action Express Racing, while the 2 Cadillac entries from Wayne Taylor Racing (WTR) finished in the top 10 with the #10 car driven by Ricky Taylor, Filipe Albuquerque and Will Stevens finished 6th; and the #40 car driven by Jordan Taylor, Louis Delétraz and Norman Nato finishing 8th.
The #45 Lamborghini from WTR competed in the GTD division and was driven by Danny Formal, Trent Hindman and Graham Doyle who were able to return to the race and fought back to finish in 12th in the GTD class.
