Our Story

Our greater mission is to raise awareness and money to purchase special diabetic shoes and orthotics for disadvantaged/homeless patients suffering from current or past diabetic foot ulcers. Evidence shows that custom-made, properly fitting shoes can prevent amputation in diabetic patients with severe neuropathy. Modern Wound Care Management (MWCM) has partnered with the American Diabetes Association as well as with many corporate supporters including DJO Global (Dr. Comfort), Crary Shoes and Osborn Medical (Rooke Boots).
