Your body isn’t random.
Your cravings aren’t random.
Your cycle is communicating with you.
Right now, I’m in my luteal phase—the phase where your body is naturally asking for more:
More calories
More protein
More grounding
Your metabolism actually increases during this time, and your body is working hard behind the scenes. Which means… this is not the time to restrict.
And yet—what do most of us crave?
Chocolate 🍫
Instead of fighting it… I listened.
I made protein-packed chocolate pancakes with added pea protein, because my body also needs support right now.
Topped with:
✨ Homemade pistachio nut butter (yes, from scratch)
✨ A little Nutella because… balance and joy matter
✨ Local bee pollen to support my body through seasonal allergies (because I’ve been sneezing nonstop 🤧)
✨ And an edible flower I grew from seed—because beauty is nourishment too
This is what alignment looks like.
Not control.
Not restriction.
Not ignoring your body’s signals.
But learning how to work with your body instead of against it.
Honoring the craving… while also supporting what your body actually needs.
Your cycle isn’t an inconvenience.
It’s a blueprint.
And when you start nourishing yourself in alignment with it—
everything shifts.
