US 27 northbound at the SR 60 bridge and US 27 southbound at Central Avenue will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2022 until 5 a.m. Monday, January 17, 2022. The Florida Department of Transportation’s contractor will close the road to set beams for the new SR 60 bridge.

Detours will be in place for local traffic and commercial truck traffic. Signage will direct motorists to the detours, which are shown below. Law Enforcement will be on site to assist motorists. Please allow extra travel time and use caution in the construction zones.

Upcoming Road Closure for US 27 at SR 60 Project

In mid-January 2022, the Florida Department of Transportation’s contractor will close US 27 northbound at the SR 60 bridge and US 27 southbound at Central Avenue, to set beams for the new SR 60 bridge. The closure will be from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday. Detours will be in place for local traffic and commercial truck traffic. ROAD CLOSURE: From FDOT West Central - Tampa Area

The US 27 at SR 60 project will have an upcoming roadway closure beginning November 29, 2021. Central Avenue at US 27 will be closed at the intersection for approximately two (2) weeks. This closure is to allow crews to construct concrete pavement in the center portion of the intersection. US 27 will continue to have two lanes of traffic north and southbound. Traffic will be able to access movement in and out of Central Avenue but will not be able to travel across Central Avenue. The left turn lane on US 27 northbound and the left turn lane at US 27 southbound at Central Avenue will be closed.
