From a flat spot and frustrated parents to milestones met and smiles all around.. Here’s Mom’s experience in her own words.” 🫶🏼

“Before coming to our PX Docs office, Ivy was favoring looking to the right and was developing a flat spot on her head. Because of the tightness in her neck and body, she struggled with tummy time. She was also having lots and lots of reflux, soaking herself and mom with spit up often.

At first, I felt a bit crazy and thought maybe I was imagining the issues with her head shape when her first pediatrician didn’t comment. At two months, we switched pediatricians, and they confirmed what I had suspected. They recommended we try chiropractic care to help her improve her range of motion. I felt both validated and nervous about whether it would work or be enough to correct her head shape.

When we first came to our PX Docs office, my nerves and fears were instantly held with such care. We were walked through each step of the process, given clear information and resources, and shown love and care from the staff. After that first visit, I just knew, whether she ended up needing a helmet or not, coming here was the right thing for her.

Her scans made perfect sense. They showed where her body was holding tension that was making her favor turning her head to one side. They also showed an imbalance where she struggled with reflux.

Almost immediately, we began seeing results. Ivy would go into her early appointments with a curve to her body, and by the time the adjustments were done, she was stretched out, straight, and smiling. I knew it was doing something deeper, too, because she would sleep so hard on adjustment days early on. Eventually, she started turning her head both ways more freely, holding her head up nice and high during tummy time, and having much less spit up and reflux on a daily basis.
Ivy is truly the happiest baby, and now she is so much more comfortable in her body. She is growing and thriving in every way. Even her head shape has improved greatly in just 2 months! We have seen so many benefits for Ivy that we decided to have our older daughter start care too!” ❤️🙌🏻

Torticollis isn’t always just fixed by 3 simple exercises. It is usually a nervous system struggle and can affect multiple systems in the body! It’s also never a “one size fits all” fix! Let’s find out the root cause together and make sure that your baby’s nervous system and milestones are on the right track! 💙

“I remember being so excited for her 6-month check-up and left feeling scared, discouraged, and helpless.” 💔

At Tatum’s 6-month doctor’s appointment, they noticed flattening on one side of her head as a result of her having torticollis. She was struggling to reach her milestones and favored one side of her body. She also had terrible reflux. 😩

Mom shared, “Our doctor recommended that we have her fitted for a helmet and physical therapy. Everything was so overwhelming. I reached out to mom groups on Facebook and found recommendations for PX Docs.
This led me to reading their testimonials online, and I knew we had to get an appointment.

Instantly, from walking through the door, we felt welcomed, supported, and heard. We left that first appointment feeling so much hope and confidence that we found the best plan to help our daughter.” 🙌🏻

The neurological scans helped reassure them. “The scans were spot on to the problems she was having. It felt like more reassurance because it is something you can see, and it was very accurate to all the problems we went in explaining to the team.”

And after starting care, they noticed big changes in their little girl. 🎉 “We started noticing her head shape was getting better over time, her torticollis was improving, she was reaching milestones equally on both sides, and we also saw improved sleep habits.”

Now, Tatum is thriving. “She has reached and is still reaching all her milestones, her head shape is better than it has ever been, and she no longer favors one side of her body! We could not be more grateful for all the love and support we have received at our PX Docs office!” 💛 Go Tatum!

But on a real note, can we trust you? 😂

As a parent, you want to give your newborn the absolute best start in life. 💛 But what many parents don’t realize is that even the most “normal” birth can place tremendous stress on your baby’s delicate nervous system. And that stress doesn’t always show up in obvious ways.

In the U.S., 1 in 5 deliveries involve C-sections, and many others include interventions like vacuum extraction or forceps. Even without those, the physical process of birth, twisting, compression, and traction, places immense force on the upper neck and nervous system of a newborn. Positioning in utero, the placement of the cord, and other factors also play a role! Even if baby has no manual assistance, birth is still a crazy athletic event for both mom and baby. That’s why so many parents find themselves in those tough early days facing nonstop crying, trouble latching, reflux, colic, or restless sleep… told again and again that these are just “normal baby things” that they’ll grow out of. 😣

But what if those signs aren’t just part of the newborn phase? What if they’re your baby’s way of saying, “My nervous system is stressed, and I need help”? 🚨
The first year of life is the most critical window of neurological development. 🧠 When we support and protect the nervous system early, we create the foundation for better immunity, stronger regulation, more restful sleep, optimal digestion, and healthy development.

The journey into this world can prove to be a tough one, but no matter the circumstances, there is always a way to help our kiddos get on the path to thriving!

Born at 37 weeks via c-section, Brooks’ early days were influenced by the stress of a very emotional end of pregnancy for mom and a physically stressful birth. The result? Colic, a dairy intolerance, and constant spitting up significantly affected their daily life. 😔

With previous experience in Neurologically-Focused Pediatric Chiropractic for their other amazing children, Brooks’ family wasted no time. They immediately sought chiropractic care as soon as he was released from the hospital, knowing its potential to help. 💪

There was no surprise to them that the neurological scans revealed stress patterns, especially in the upper neck, which are directly connected to a baby being comfortable and digesting well! That region is largely responsible for the rest, digest, relax, and regulate functions! (and is often the most stressed during the birth process).

After just three gentle and specific adjustments. Brooks began to spit up less and experienced fewer “crying spells.” 🙌

Fast forward to today, Brooks is a thriving toddler; he’s free from his dairy intolerance, sleeps better, and has overall better digestion. He can transition between activities without becoming overstimulated, bringing more ease and joy to his life and his family’s. ❤️

Way to go, Brooks!

Ashley came to PX Docs for prenatal adjustments after experiencing sciatica and sharp pain early in her pregnancy. Back massages from her husband and professional massages just weren’t cutting it, she said! 😆

She shared, “We got married in June 2024 and got pregnant Labor Day weekend 2024 - so everything went pretty quickly! First trimester, I was mostly just nauseous, 2nd trimester was a breeze, and 3rd trimester, I slowly started to feel more pain the bigger I got. I stayed active through my whole pregnancy and worked out until 35 weeks. I just wanted a healthy birth and a healthy baby! And that’s just what I got. :)”
Ashley found PX Docs through a friend and immediately felt at home. “They were so warm and welcoming! I knew I was in the exact right place from day one. So genuine and easy to talk to, whether it be my aches and pains or questions, prepping for being a first-time mom!” 🫶🏼

The adjustments and neurological scans helped her feel empowered and informed. “The scans were very telling and interesting to learn about! They were spot on where my pains were and where to begin and focus for adjustments.”

Ashley continued care throughout her pregnancy and into postpartum, bringing baby Easton along. “Now I go once a week, both me and the baby. Easton has been getting adjusted once a week since he was about 2 weeks old. He’s such a happy and smart baby, and I truly believe coming to our PX Doc is the reason!” 🎉
Ashley even got adjusted when her water broke. “The relief was AMAZING! Highly recommend doing that if you can! They checked in on us multiple times. We are so grateful for them, and they have been such a big part of our journey! I can’t imagine going anywhere else!” ❤️
