Watery eyes? Here’s the part most people don’t expect!
If your eyes won’t stop tearing up, it doesn’t automatically mean they’re “too wet.” In many cases, it’s actually the opposite. Your tear film has three layers:
→ Oil Layer (keeps tears from evaporating too fast)
→ Water Layer (hydrates the surface)
→ Mucin Layer (helps tears spread evenly)

When one of these layers isn’t doing its job, especially the oil layer, tears evaporate quickly. Your eyes panic, send out an SOS, and flood the surface with reflex tears. Those tears are mostly water… so they don’t fix the underlying imbalance. That’s why you can feel dry and watery at the same time.

A few signs your watery eyes might actually be dry eye:
→ Burning or stinging.
→ Blurry vision that improves when you blink.
→ Gritty or sandy sensation.
→ Symptoms that worsen on screens or in A/C.

If your eyes are constantly watering, let’s figure out why. Head to the link below.

If your vision feels dim, hazy, or like you’re constantly looking through a foggy window, a cataract could be the reason.

Cataracts happen when the natural lens inside your eye becomes cloudy. Over time, proteins in the lens break down and clump together, gradually turning what was once clear into something that scatters light instead of focusing it properly.
That’s why you might notice:
→ Glare from headlights at night.
→ Colors looking faded.
→ Needing brighter light to read.
→ Frequent prescription changes.

Cataracts are most commonly age-related, but the good news is, they’re highly treatable. During cataract surgery, the cloudy lens is removed and replaced with a clear artificial lens. The result? Sharper vision and a noticeable improvement in day-to-day life, from driving to reading to seeing faces clearly again.’

If your vision isn’t what it used to be, it may not just be “getting older.” Let’s find out what’s really going on at the link below.
