Today is Cyber Monday. Most of you will be shopping more than usual today, trying to snag a great deal on holiday gifts. Many vendors will send text messages to your phone regarding your purchases or information about an item’s delivery status. Be wary of text messages you receive with embedded, unrecognized links. Do not click on any link in any text message unless you know who the sender of the text is, and you trust the sender. Links in a text message can lead to bogus – but official looking – websites or possibly download malware onto your device.
