Phyllis Booth was my first mentor in learning attachment play therapy. I lived in the city and worked in Cicero, Illinois and she would have me over to her quaint apartment and teach me about nurture, structure, engagement, and challenge by exactly doing that for me. I was starstruck then and starstruck now and she remains a humble and fierce force for the good in this world. Happy birthday, Phyllis
