Fall Fun with the Kids at Arbor Oaks! 🍁🖍️

Our residents had such a wonderful time! First, we were visited on Halloween by some adorable little trick-or-treaters—our halls were filled with laughter, candy, and some of the cutest costumes you’ve ever seen! 🍬✨

Then, the amazing Homeschool Group “Classical Conversations” joined us for an afternoon of fall crafts and creativity. 🍂🎨 It was heartwarming to see generations come together—sharing smiles, stories, and a little bit of glitter, too!

Thank you to all the families and kids who helped make these events so special. ❤️

✨ What a Week to Remember! ✨
We had such a wonderful time celebrating Assisted Living Week with our residents, families, and staff! Each day was full of smiles, laughter, and special memories:

🧦 Monday: We kicked things off with a 50s Sock Hop—poodle skirts, dancing, and of course, delicious root beer floats!

🌴 Tuesday: We became Florida tourists for the day, taking a “grand tour” of our building and ending with a fun little gift shop.

🎩 Wednesday: Things got curiouser and curiouser with our Alice in Wonderland Day! Residents enjoyed a whimsical Mad Hatter Tea Party and had fun posing at our photo backdrop with silly props.

🎪 Thursday: Carnival Day brought games, tickets, prizes, and plenty of laughter under the big top!

🌟 Friday: We ended the week in style with our Red Carpet Day. Residents were honored at our awards ceremony and then celebrated at the Golden Hour Gala, complete with beautiful live music from cello player Bethany Thompson.

💛 Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and helped make this week so special. Our community truly shines when we celebrate together!

🎨☕ Yesterday’s Paint & Brew was a perfect blend of creativity and comfort!
Our residents started by painting soft watercolor backgrounds, then took a cozy tea break with hot tea and delicious macarons while their masterpieces dried.

Once the backgrounds were ready, we added striking black silhouettes of tree branches and graceful birds, bringing each piece to life.

It was such a relaxing afternoon filled with art, laughter, and sweet treats — and everyone left with a beautiful creation to proudly display! 💛✨

Game time, good times!
Our Evergreen residents have been keeping their minds sharp and their hearts full with a variety of tabletop activities this week! From piecing together puzzles and matching fun phrases to diving into great reads and sharing stories sparked by photo cards, the room has been filled with laughter, memories, and meaningful connection. 💬❤️

These moments remind us that joy truly lives in the little things — a shared smile over a puzzle piece, a memory triggered by a familiar photo, or the simple comfort of a good book in hand.

Happy 4th of July from all of us at Arbor Oaks! 🎆

We had a blast this week celebrating our Independence—our residents made beautiful patriotic wreaths, shared interesting ideas while learning fun facts about our nation’s founding, and enjoyed the spirit of freedom and community.

We're hoping to cap off the evening with some fireworks (weather permitting), so keep an eye on the skies!

🧣🎶 Twist, stretch, and smile! 🎶🧣

Our Evergreen residents had a blast this morning grooving to classic '50s tunes during our scarf exercise session! From toe taps to twisty moves, the energy was high and the laughter was contagious. There's nothing like a little rock 'n' roll to get the joints moving and the spirits soaring! 💃🕺

Our community came together to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We began the day with a heartfelt remembrance service, where we shared meaningful poetry and personal stories that touched every heart in the room.

Later, we joined hands—literally and figuratively—for a special community art project: a handprint flag. Each handprint represents a part of our Arbor Oaks family, united in gratitude and remembrance.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this Memorial Day so meaningful. ❤️🤍💙

We brought the sights, sounds, and flavors of Mexico to Arbor Oaks for a joyful Cinco de Mayo celebration! Residents enjoyed upbeat music, themed games, tasty treats, and festive drinks—all while surrounded by laughter and vibrant decorations. 🎶🌮🪅

We had a hoppin’ good time celebrating Easter with our wonderful residents this year! 🐰🎩
First up was our Easter Bonnet Decorating session, where creativity blossomed like spring flowers. From feathers to flowers, each hat was truly a work of art! 👒✨
Then came the Spring Fashion Show, where our stylish seniors strutted their stuff with confidence and flair—bonnets and all! 💃🌷 It was a joy to see everyone shine and cheer one another on.
We wrapped up the holiday fun with a cheerful Easter Egg Hunt, proving that you're never too old to enjoy the thrill of finding hidden treasures. 🥚🌼

🌼🐰 Easter at Evergreen was Egg-stra Special! 🐰🌼
We had a crackin’ good time celebrating Easter with our amazing residents this week! 💛🥚
🎨 We kicked things off with colorful Easter crafts, where creativity bloomed brighter than spring flowers!
🥚 Next up was the No Yolk Egg Toss—full of laughs, friendly competition, and just a few close calls!
🐇 Then it was time to boogie at our Bunny Hop Dance Party—because who says the Easter Bunny can’t bust a move?
🌷 And of course, no Easter celebration is complete without a classic Easter Egg Hunt! Our residents were egg-ceptional egg finders!
