Dear Friends, Colleagues, Past & Current Clients:

As of October 30, 2020 we will be closing the doors of LifeCare of Lakeland after almost eight years of service to the community and surrounding areas. It has been both a privilege and an honor as you have entrusted me with the care of your patients, clients, and family members over the past several years. I will cherish many of the relationships that we have forged as we have served and committed to addressing drug and mental health challenges which are so prevalent in our society today.

As a provider, I encourage you to “keep your hand to the plow,” and as a potential or previous client, please be diligent in your search for your true self and your sobriety. We are living in extremely hard times, and our individual health can contribute or bring demise on first ourselves, our families, and finally our communities and nation. God created each of us unique and on purpose for a purpose.

This email address will not be forwarded and will be deleted on 10/30/2020. If you need to reach me for ANY reason, please email me at: lifecarelkld@gmail.com, as I may possibly be available for telehealth counseling on a cash basis.

With fond regard and continued service as a helping hand to hurting people,

Donna St. Rock, MA,CAP

It is been really difficult in the past several years to get Facebook to remove us listed as an employment agency. We are not an employment agency, we are not a nursing home. Evidently a nursing home close to this area has the name LifeCare. So just to clarify things, we are an outpatient treatment center for substance-abuse and mental health- for families, for adolescents, adults, and anyone who needs help overcoming addiction or challenges in mental health. We have been in the community for over 7 years, we are DCF licensed, and working on our Joint Commission certification. Please call us with any questions you may have, or concerns about yourself or a loved one.

“And it has come to an end.. not a whole lot of people knew but on April 29th I was arrested. Following my arrest I was put on probation, due to using drugs I began my recovery journey at tri-county. I failed 4 drug tests there. I was so close to giving up. I didn’t understand why I couldn’t put the drugs down. I was depressed. I was going through the worst months I could’ve gone through. I did some research and found LifeCare of Lakeland. I instantly just knew this would be it. This would be what I needed to jump start my life. I began this new journey at the beginning of September and today October 31st I have successfully been discharged. It was not easy. It was very intensive. I grew. I found myself. I also made a few new friends. I never thought I would be able to get my life back on track. I never thought I would find me, but one thing I can say is... NEVER give up on something you want. No matter how hard it is. I can’t thank my family and friends enough for being by my side. I did it!!”

“Today I woke up with an overwhelming sense of gratitude! Although everything is not perfect in my world, I am completely blown away at this second life I've been given. The hard work through recovery and into my professional career is nothing short of a miracle. A little over 9 years ago I wanted life to end and today I can't wait to get up and start the day. Please if you are struggling to achieve recovery, continue to fight. I battled addiction for 13 horrific years and now have the opportunity to help others that were once as lost as me. When you find your calling in life, nothing can hold you back, but yourself.”
