Progress on a thoroughbred who's rebuilding hoof. Some days you leave material for comfort, and when there's enough hard material built it's time to uncover a new foot. It's a journey for this guy but he's coming along really nicely!

Easycare Versa Gold composite shoes with impression material applied with nails on two separate horses (first two; last two). Long toes are no issue with flat nailing, and proper breakover can be established no matter the application.

Easycare NG shoes modified with Duplo carbon tabs, impression material covering the entire sole, and acrylic glue on the dorsal wall to help an older horse grow out retracted soles. Casting material is applied to the finished product for retention and added comfort. This application is done primarily weight bearing.

Was such a wonderful time with wonderful people. So humbled to be able to participate with others in the field and have a collective get together with a bunch of other passionate and successful people in the industry.

Was an honour to speak this weekend beside these guys.
Absolute masters of their profession, I learnt far more then I taught thanks to them.

And a huge well done to The Humble Hoof for a seamless clinic. It was a pleasure to be part of something so well organised.

Now on to the next weekend.
