🫁Happy Respiratory Care Week! 🩺

Hi friends! I’m Ashley Zamzow, Co-Owner of The Salt Room Lakeland and a Registered Respiratory Therapist 💙

My journey into respiratory care started in a very personal way. In 2011, our middle son was born premature and faced years of constant sickness and breathing struggles. During that time, I watched an incredible team of Respiratory Therapists care for him with such skill, compassion, and heart. They made such a difference in his life, and in ours, that I knew I wanted to do the same for others.

Fast forward a few years… during my last clinical rotation in RT school, I had the opportunity to explore an “alternative” therapy…..Salt Therapy. (Shout out to & ) I’ll never forget my first session. I walked out feeling amazing and immediately called my husband saying, “I want to open a Salt Room!”

A few years later, that dream became a reality! My co-owners and I opened The Salt Room Lakeland, and it has been so rewarding to help others breathe easier, feel better, and improve their quality of life…naturally and without side effects.

Salt therapy isn’t just about the physical benefits; it’s also about giving yourself a moment to slow down, disconnect, relax, and recharge. 🤍

So during Respiratory Care Week, I want to thank all of the incredible Respiratory Therapists who make a difference every single day and remind everyone to just BREATHE. 💕
