Orange Pineapple ➕ Raspberry
This verse is about hope paired with patience.
Paul is reminding us that hope, by definition, is for something we can’t see yet. If we already had it, we wouldn’t need hope.
So when God gives us a promise, a calling, or a vision, but it hasn’t shown up yet that’s where faith is tested.
The key word here is patiently.
Not passive waiting. Not giving up.
But a steady, trusting wait that says:
“I believe God is working, even when I can’t see it yet.”
Romans 8 as a whole talks about suffering, growth, and future glory. This verse reassures us that the waiting season isn’t wasted.. it’s part of the process. God often develops our character, endurance, and trust before He delivers what we’re hoping for.
