We wanted to be open by now.

And we know many of you are ready to walk through our doors.

So first—thank you for your patience. And truly… we’re sorry for the delay.

The truth is, taking on an older building to renovate has come with some surprises along the way that have caused some delays.

We are doing everything we can to be open soon.

Every corner of this space is being built with intention. Because Sisu isn’t just a place you come to sweat and move a little.
It’s a space you experience.

And that kind of space… takes time.

We’re pouring ourselves into this.
Not to delay you—but to meet you fully when the doors open.

To give you something worth the wait.

We’re SO close.

And we cannot wait to welcome you into a space that was built with real intention, real care, and a whole lot of heart.

When was the last time you stood in line without pulling out your phone?

When was the last time you gave a friend your undivided attention without your phone in reaching distance?

When was the last time you remember your phone NOT being in reaching distance?

Not every pause needs filling.

Not every quiet moment is a problem to solve.

When we reach for our phones the instant there’s space, we teach our nervous system that stillness is unsafe. That something always needs to happen. That attention must be occupied.

Moments without our phones are where the body remembers how to settle on its own.
Where breath deepens without instruction.
Where the mind wanders, softens, and resets.
These in-between moments aren’t wasted time.

They’re where regulation is rehearsed.
Where urgency loosens its grip.
Where we practice being here without performing, responding, or fixing.

Nothing is missing in these moments.
You’re not falling behind.
You’re remembering how to exist without constant stimulation.

And that quiet capacity follows you back into the world—
into how you listen, how you move, how you respond.

Presence isn’t something you scroll into.
It’s something you let in and embody.

Regulation is leadership.

Regulated people - regulate relationships, regulate families, regulate communities.

Your nervous system is the technology to change the lives around you.

Be the person who brings calm to every situation.

Speak safety in all the bodies around you.

When you become fluent in the language of the nervous system,

Families become more connected, teams perform better.

People think clearer. Creativity flows.

Co-regulation is the skill that changes everything.

It's called having "vagal authority".

And it's the greatest gift you can give to the world.

What it really means to be here..

Presence doesn't just live in the mind. It lives in the body first. The body arrives before the thoughts do.

Presence doesn't mean feeling calm; presence includes everything you feel.

Calm may be a result, but it's not a requirement.

Presence doesn't have to be slow. Presence changes how you move, not how fast.

You can be present, even in motion.

Presence is not something to reach for. It is what remains when we stop rushing, fixing, and striving.

Presence begins the moment you notice distraction. Awareness is already presence.

Presence is not perfection. It is listening. It is staying. It is meeting this moment - as it is.

It lives in the body, in the breath, in the willingness to stay with what is.

Nothing to fix. Nothing to add. Just here.

So often we come to the mat with a quiet belief that something about us needs to be corrected.

The tension we hold, the thoughts we think, the emotions that surface - we treat them like problems to solve. But yoga isn't about fixing yourself. It's about remembering that you were never broken in the first place.

Your mat is simply a place where everything you normally push aside becomes clear enough to see. The breath, the sensations, the patterns, the tenderness, the truth of where you are today - all of it gets to be witnessed without judgement.

When you move, breathe, and pay attention, you're not trying to become someone different. You're returning to the person you already are underneath the noise, the stress, the expectations, and the roles you carry.

You don't have to change yourself to belong here.

You just have to show up and be willing to feel what's real.

This is remembering.

This is coming home.

Embodiment is the practice of staying in contact with sensations, attitude, and life.
Sensations are the body’s first language.
Attitude is how you meet what’s there.
And life is what’s happening now.

Embodiment is not about being present all the time.
It’s about noticing the moment you leave — and having a way back.

The nervous system is always orienting.
Toward safety or protection.
Toward openness or contraction.

At Sisu, our practices are designed to make this visible and felt.
Through heat, breath, movement, stillness, and shared presence, we practice noticing when the body shifts — when effort creeps in, when we brace, when we soften, when we open.

Embodiment is the skill of feeling that shift as it happens…
and staying with it long enough for choice to return.

This is why we practice at Sisu.
Not to get it right.
But to come back into relationship with what’s here — in the body, in the moment, and in ourselves

Oxygen therapy involves breathing in highly concentrated oxygen through a mask or nasal cannula in a calm, seated environment. Unlike everyday breathing, which delivers about 21% oxygen, oxygen therapy increases the amount available to your body. Modern life quietly restricts our oxygen intake—shallow breathing, chronic stress, screen time, poor posture, and constant stimulation all reduce how efficiently we take in and use oxygen.

When oxygen availability increases:

Blood becomes more efficiently oxygenated

Cells receive more fuel for recovery and repair

Circulation improves

Mental clarity and focus increase

Fatigue and “brain fog” often decrease

Oxygen also supports the nervous system by reducing the stress signals associated with low oxygen availability, helping the body shift out of survival mode and into restoration.

At Sisu, oxygen therapy is about restoring capacity.

It supports the practices that ask more of you—heat, cold, movement—while also standing on its own as a gentle reset for the brain and body.

This is not about pushing performance. It’s about giving your system the raw material it needs to recover, focus, and function well.

The longer you sit in presence, the steadier you become.

Presence isn’t about doing the pose “right,” quieting the mind, or pushing through discomfort.
It’s about staying.
Staying with the breath when it wobbles.
Staying with sensation without rushing to change it.
Staying long enough for your nervous system to learn: this is survivable.

In yoga, steadiness doesn’t come from effort alone.
It comes from allowing your body to fully arrive where it already is.

Each time you choose presence over performance, your system practices trust.
Your breath deepens.
Your reactions soften.
Your capacity grows—not because you forced calm, but because you gave yourself time.

This is Sisu.
Not toughness for show, but the quiet strength that’s built by staying with what’s real—
one breath, one moment, one steadying pause at a time.
