Welcome to my little slice of the internet.

I run on lots of caffeine and fun and giggles and mud and hay and animal cracker snacks for the herd of goats always following me! I’m so glad you’re here and have made Sunshine Linings Studio a little part of your life.

And for those new around here… WELCOME! Let me re-introduce myself!

I’m Ashley! A 39 year old mom of four kids and married to my high school sweetheart, my ranch hand Andrew. I taught 2nd grade for 13 years until we moved from our cozy suburban house to the hobby farm of our dreams! I stopped teaching, got a bunch of furry and feathery friends and got my yoga certification. We turned an outbuilding into the studio space and that’s how we found our way here! I’m a breast cancer survivor of ALMOST 8 years and our youngest little dude is a former NICU wee warrior and we all agree life is too short to not buy the extra goat 🐐 Now you can find me running my kids to all their activities and doing birthday parties and summer camp and goat yoga and all the fun here at Sunshine Linings! ☀️

We’ve had so many people asking so we’ve got them on the calendar… mommy and me playdates are back!!!

Come on over for a fun morning of snacks and crafts and coffee for moms❤️ Then we will head outside as long as weather allows for some time to meet all our furry and feathery friends and give them some treats!

$10 a family (cash or Venmo at the event) and spots are limited!

Cooper can’t believe it either… preK SUMMER CAMP IS ALMOST SOLD OUT!! We have some days that are full and most days are down to just a couple spots left! Sign up soon so you get your preferred date or dates!

School aged classes have a bit more room but I’d love to get those filled up soon as well! We’ve got some fun crafts planned and will have a few new animals on the farm! The earlier groups in the summer will also be the first groups that get to plant our camp garden beds and we can’t wait to pick out some fun fruits and veggies to grow!

HUGE thank you to families who’ve already signed up and everyone who has shared about our little camp! We had such a blast last year and can’t wait for warm weather and sunshiney days!

And that’s what summer camp here is ALL about! Learning to care and understand animals so we can care for our friends and neighbors!

It is HERE!!!

It’s a cold and snowy day here in Minnesota but we are daydreaming of sunshine and summer days and new baby farm animals and of course, SUMMER CAMP!

Registration for summer camp is on my website at www.sunshineliningsstudio.com with more details about what each week’s theme will be. If you have questions please reach out, and if you’ve got two kiddos close in age and want to bring the to one or the other go for it❤️ Space is super limited and class size is capped at 10 so everyone gets hands on experience with our furry and feathery friends! I can’t wait to spend summer with our youngest little friends!

Had the sweetest birthday party today… and tomorrow I’ll be for their winter vendor market! I’m bringing a bunch of goodies to make vision boards… stickers and markers and magazines and fun little quotes! Come stop by my table anytime from 11am-2pm! I’ll also have summer camp gift cards available for $10 off too! There will be a ton of vendors so stop over anytime ❤️

1/10: birthday party in the studio 🎉

1/11: 11am-2pm vendor event with our friends ! Come on by their amazing location to check out a whole crew of vendors!

1/22: 6-9pm LADIES NIGHT in the studio!! Come on over for a fun night of crafting vision boards and punch cards for the year ahead! We will have snacks and drinks and just a fun night planned! $20 per person, tickets available at www.sunshineliningsstudio.com!

1/30: 10am mommy and me craft morning with .lakeville ❤️ Pop over to their page to register!

We can’t even wait to kick of 2026 with some super fun events! Determined to make this MN winter fun and full of community!

2025 was so special.
I am so thankful for all of you for making it this wonderful!!

I’ve been hard at work planning 2026 and we’ve got new furry friends coming and new summer camp offerings and lots of goat yoga planned!! I can barely wait to keep sharing this special space with so many of YOU! Happy new year!

Well, hi there!
We’ve gotten some new followers over here and wanted to drop in and say hi! And re-introduce myself!

I’m Ashley, the owner and crazy magic maker behind this little studio! My husband Andrew and I are high school sweethearts and we’ve got 4 kiddos together! I taught 2nd grade for 13 years until we decided to move our family to the sweetest little hobby farm in Lakeville. We had always wanted to have a farm despite knowing next to nothing about owning farm animals and land, and after some big things happened to our family we decided life wasn’t going to wait for the perfect time to make a change. In 2018, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and went through a bilateral mastectomy, chemo, radiation and a year full of infusions to hopefully prevent the return of any cancer. It was a long year of treatment but together we came out on the other side. Then in 2021, I was pregnant with our youngest and my water broke at 26 weeks and was hospitalized for a month before delivery. Since it was during the pandemic, I wasn’t allowed visitors aside from Andrew. Our little guy arrived at 30 weeks and had a two month NICU stay and his first year was full of lots of appointments and physical therapy and now he’s a wild and rambunctious 4 year old! We made the decision in 2022 to move to a farm and start something special… and that’s how Sunshine Linings was born! I stopped teaching, got my yoga certification and we slowly started finishing a building on the property to turn it into the studio we have today!

A little over a year being open officially and we’ve done countless goat yoga sessions, birthday parties, ladies craft nights, kids crafting sessions, summer camps and field trips! I’m so beyond lucky to be here and just love sharing our spot with others! We love partnering with local businesses and community members and are thrilled with what we’ve built… and I’m confident in saying THIS is only the beginning❤️ Thanks so much for being along on this crazy ride!

Very very excited for our November events!! Here’s what’s going on this month:

11/15: morning in the farm! VERY excited to partner up with this amazing crew! And word is will be popping over too!

11/20: Mommy and Me morning on the farm! 9-10am, bring the kids for some coffee and snacks and fun in the studio! $10 per family to cover snacks for people and animals!

11/21: PreK morning camp! 10-12pm! $40 for a fun morning of learning and snacks and animal time for your little learner! Ages 3-5!

Hope to see some of you this month on the farm! Get ready for a super fun holiday season come December! 🎄
