I haven't been here for a while, and I apologize for that! I thought this article was very post worthy! ADDitudemag.com is one of my favorite sources for all things ADHD and they really do their research. For all of you parents who are hesitating to use medication with your kiddos--please read this. Their research is amazing in how brains ARE changing for the good as a result of stimulant medications.
ADHD medication use has lasting, positive effects on the brain, according to findings from brain imaging studies. Research also shows that leaving ADHD symptoms untreated carries far greater risks, including unemployment and substance abuse, than does lifelong medication use.
