Harry Potter had an amazing time out on the trail today! It was his first time being led out there and he was a pro! Harry was very levelheaded and took everything in amazingly! We couldn’t be more proud! He truly is such an amazing horse! Everyone who comes here falls in love with his sweet goofy personality. Harry also enjoys doing ground work such as stepping over poles and practicing backing up with the kids in our program! Harry’s winter coat has fully grown in! He is super fluffy!

Harry Potter ⚡️ yesterday! Harry has been making leaps and bounds on his training! He’s a very smart and mellow guy! He can now lead with and with out a halter, pick up all four feet, stands for baths and fly spray just to name a few! Yesterday we worked on desensitization to multiple items such as hula hoops, jingle bells, and pool noodles! Harry did fantastic with them all! Desensitization is an important part with helping build a horse’s confidence! We are just so proud of Harry for all the he has accomplished!
Monday is farrier day and our farrier just adores Harry!

Happy October 1st! The leaves are starting to change color as well the temperature is starting to change and the sun goes down sooner. While this is fantastic weather and not only do the horses and goats enjoy this weather us humans do as well! This is the time to where we start checking our winter time items that we use daily. During this first week we will be checking and making sure all water heaters work to keep the water from freezing during our cold winter months. Next we will be checking all blankets to make sure they still fit great and that if there is any holes in the blankets that they get repaired or get the horse a new blanket all together! And finally we will be washing and air drying all of the horses fly masks so they can be fresh and ready to go for next year!
