Why stretching isn’t actually fixing your mobility.

Most people think feeling tight means they just need to stretch more.

But mobility is bigger than muscles.

Your joints, connective tissue, and most importantly…. your nervous system all play a role in how your body moves.

If the nervous system senses instability or irritation, it can actually limit your range of motion to protect you. This is why people stretch the same muscles for years and still feel tight.

At our office, we focus on improving nervous system function first, then combine that with specific mobility exercises based on your movement patterns.

If you’ve been dealing with back pain for a while, you already know it’s not just “my back hurts.” It changes how you sit, how you sleep, how you move, and honestly how you feel day to day. 😵‍💫

In our office, a lot of chronic low back pain comes down to compression. It’s that jammed, tight feeling that flares when you sit, and symptoms that keep coming back even when you try to “rest it off.”

Dr. Lee uses decompression therapy to gently take that pressure off the joints and discs so irritated areas can calm down and your body can start moving better again. No injections. No surgery.
