The dermatology professionals at the Center for Dermatology are pleased to welcome you to our practice. We proudly serve the local area including Prior Lake, Farmington, Apple Valley, Burnsville, Rosemount, Elko-New Market, New Prague, Montgomery, Lonsdale, Northfield, Fairbault, Shakopee, Eagan and the surrounding areas. We are a full service dermatology clinic. We provide medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology services. We perform full body skin checks, which reviews moles and other skin lesions. If a biopsy is needed, we can take care of that too. Dr Zabel provides comprehensive skin cancer treatments including cryotherapy, cutterage, and mohs surgery. We invite you to schedule an appointment for your annual skin check. Acne can be an on-going skin issue for people of all ages. We successfully treat acne untilzing a variety of medical options for our patients. We offer some unique cosmetic services that also treat acne including acne peels and acne laser treatments. If you have a rash or are suffering from dry skin, eczema, psoriasis, warts or another chronic skin condition, we treat those conditions as well. If you are looking for cosmetic services such as Botox Injections or Dermal Fillers, you are in the right place. Dr. Zabel is well known for his knowledge and skill with these types of cosmetic procedures. We offer other cosmetic services such as Laser Hair Removal, Microdermabrasion, Microneedling, Chemical Peels, Custom Facials, and Laser Treatments to help elimiate wrinkles, brown spots and red spots. 🔥💦 May 22-28 is National Safe Sun Week so we're giving you 5 tips to protect yourself from heat exhaustion this summer.

1️. Dress Appropriately: Include sunglasses, light-colored, long-sleeved loose clothing, and a wide-brimmed hat in your summer ensemble. Always apply sunscreen before heading outside.

2️. Stay Hydrated: This helps regulate your body's core temperature, particularly when exercising.

3️. Time Awareness: Avoid being outdoors during the sun’s peak hours (10 am to 4 pm) but if you are, apply sunscreen and seek shade.

4️. Moderation is Key: Whether it’s alcohol, exercise, or sun exposure, don't overdo it in extreme heat.

5. Know the Signs: Watch out for heat exhaustion symptoms - fatigue, headaches, dizziness, excessive sweating, and nausea. Seek medical help immediately if you spot these signs.
