Spotlight on one of My Student’s !

I taught Michael Tokarz Holy Fire Reiki in 2017. Michael traveled all over the world doing reiki and has finally settled in North Carolina, where he has accepted a paid position as head of the Reiki Program at a local hospital.

I connected with Michael this year when he filled me in on his story, and where reiki has lead him.
I asked him if it would be ok to share his brief story here. Congratulations Michael on following your heart and soul. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part ot your journey.

“Hi Kellie, Hello from Chapel Hill North Carolina.
There's a lot to update you on. Here's the nutshell version: Our class was in July 2017, and
I returned to Shanghai in August. I started doing Reiki trainings at yoga studios in Shanghai in 2018, and continued until I left in 2023, training probably 60-70 students, four of them to Master Teacher.I returned to the US in 2023, with the intention to Reiki my way into a Reiki job, after touring around the country for a while. Mid 2024 I was accepted as a volunteer Reiki Therapist at the NC Cancer Hospital. They hired me, and I've been on staff nearly a year! It's the best!! I'm really living the dream. Next steps are: to work with athletes and their trainers for athletic performance, accelerated injury recovery and prevention.

Other Reiki folks have asked me how I got a job at a hospital. I'm happy to offer guidance to folks interested. Mainly though, it's the power of aiming high with intention and trusting the energy and inner guidance. Also, persistence and putting yourself out there, and being confident.

Reiki is the best!
