In honor of we are shining a light on the who have forever changed for the better!

Marsha Linehan is an American psychologist and professor who created dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), an evidence-based psychotherapy that combines cognitive restructuring with acceptance, mindfulness, and shaping.

Her work unlocked new methods of treating people with chronic suicidality and borderline personality disorder (BPD) and has since been shown to be helpful to people with other disorders.
