Taking care of our mental health is not a one-time decision or something you can only check-in on from time to time. Strong mental health requires regular check-ins, and a dedication to improving literacy and advocacy for support.

And lots of healthy, honest conversations.

But we cannot walk this walk alone. We need individuals who are willing, brave and generous enough to Step Forward for mental health.

With your recurring gift of any size, you’ll receive a pair of Engage & Heal Foundation “Let’s Talk the Talk” socks, branded with our logo and chat bubbles. It’s our way of saying, “Thanks for your support. Let’s keep on talking.”

Marsha Linehan is an American psychologist and professor who created dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), an evidence-based psychotherapy that combines cognitive restructuring with acceptance, mindfulness, and shaping.

Her work unlocked new methods of treating people with chronic suicidality and borderline personality disorder (BPD) and has since been shown to be helpful to people with other disorders.
