Antibiotics are done for my fourth sinus infection in six months and I’m finishing up the steroids. The mono is settling down and I’m going into this week of work with inspiration on my wrist. I hope everyone has a great week.

I sent a text and said “when you get a chance”. Well, just that phrase took me back to a voicemail that my Dad left for me and the grief comes pouring back in, filling me up and reminding me that he’s gone. But then I smile because I have that saved voicemail. I was adopted by them. I’m so grateful to have had him as a Dad and I know that he’s still watching out for me from beyond the stars. 🌟 ❤️😭🥰

As I sit here, wondering how I have yet a fourth sinus infection in six months and somehow a reactivated case of mono, I am spending a lot of time resting and managing my anxiety from googling why all this is happening. The good thing about being sick so often in the last six months is that I have had time to focus on rest and healing. So for this year, I want to maintain my calm, hopefully not because I’m sick, but because I can. Happy new year everybody.

Tell me you don’t believe now??!! 😂 it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and this gorgeous buck was just walking down my street. I had hoped he would stop at this lit up tree for a photo and he did!!!!! 👀❤️😍

Why do I do therapy? Because today an intolerable set of feelings visited me and it felt like I was holding my breath under dark waters. Thankfully, my regular therapy session was scheduled for today. I’m guessing that’s why my parts knew that they could step forward with such intensity. They wanted support and knew they could trust my therapist. After my session, I feel lighter. I feel supported. I feel OK now. This is why I do therapy. I have a trained, supportive and caring therapist who walks into the darkness to me and who stays with me until I get back to the light. This is why, also, I am a therapist.
