Today We Honor National Caregivers Day 💙 February 20, 2026

We are so grateful for our incredible Advanced Health Care caregivers who serve our seniors and vulnerable adults every day with compassion and professionalism. We also recognize the family caregivers we are honored to partner with — spouses, children, siblings, trusted friends and loved ones who also give their time, energy, and hearts to this important work.

In Washington, more than 1.3 million adults (22%) provide care for a family member or friend. Many are working while caregiving, raising children, or even managing their own health challenges.

🏛️ 2026 In-Home Services Day at the Washington State Capitol 🏛️

Advanced Health Care was proud to participate in In-Home Services Day at the WA State Capitol in Olympia, standing alongside partners like Assured Home Health, Hospice & Palliative Care, Providence Palliative Care, and many others.

Home care, home health, private duty nursing, palliative care, and hospice providers came together to advocate for clients who rely on in-home services to remain safe, supported, and independent — and to help prevent unnecessary transitions into more expensive, higher levels of care.

In-home services don’t just improve quality of life — they also save healthcare dollars by keeping people where they want to be most: at home.

We were honored to host Grief 101 classes for our staff this week and are grateful to our local hospice partners for their excellent presentations.

Thank you to Assured Hospice (Olympia) and Franciscan Hospice (Tacoma), and to presenters Brian, Julie, and Tarah for sharing their time and expertise with our caregivers. These sessions provided meaningful insight into personal and professional grief, self-care, and how caregivers can best support their clients.

Caregivers encounter grief in many forms, and we are committed to investing in our employees’ education and well-being. Thank you to all who took the time to attend.
