Notice of practice closure

West Denver Endocrinology permanently closed, effective 5/20/2025.

West Denver Endocrinology was impacted by the increasing crises of violence against healthcare providers. Clinicians and staff were subjected to verbal abuse, disrespect, defamation, and intimidation, and a few times violence escalated beyond verbal harassment, creating a toxic and dangerous clinic environment.

Also, after several years of clinic revenues being significantly less than clinic operating costs, West Denver Endocrinology was left insolvent.

To safeguard the wellbeing of West Denver Endocrinology staff and patients and to mitigate the financial devastation of a failed business, the clinic permanently closed in May 2025.

NP Williams changed jobs and Dr. Rieniets retired from private practice ownership.

Please contact your primary care provider or your insurer to receive a referral to another endocrinology clinic.
