The Power of the Pause ️
Feeling overwhelmed? Anxious? Stressed? Try this simple practice:
1. Stop what you're doing
2. Place one hand on your heart, one on your belly
3. Close your eyes
4. Take 5 slow, deep breaths—inhale for 4 counts, exhale for 6 counts 5. Notice how your body feels
This simple practice activates your parasympathetic nervous system (your body's "rest and digest" mode) and helps you move out of fight-or-flight response.
The best part? You can do this anywhere, anytime. Your nervous system will thank you.
