Huge thank you to Joey and the team at Pietras Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant for hosting our annual gift exchange! 🍕🎁

For over 10 years, Pietra’s has been the home of this tradition, and this year was truly special. Joey went above and beyond by covering the cost of food for over 40 people, and even surprised everyone with a box of holiday treats and Pietra’s t-shirts!

Our group had the best time celebrating together. We are so lucky to have such incredible community support. ❤️

Our day program team spent an incredible day combining learning with laughter! 😆

We kicked things off with a high-energy morning led by Dale Clark, owner of Crutch Rocket Sports, who brought the fun with team-building games that had everyone moving, laughing, and working together! We then enjoyed a delicious lunch catered by our friends at AJ’s Deli in Arvada—a perfect way to refuel and celebrate a day of connection and collaboration! 🥪❤️

Through our Therapeutic Recreation Services, DDRC helps people with disabilities in Jefferson County stay active, build friendships, and learn new skills all year long, even when the cold starts to roll in! 🥶

What a fantastic turnout for our annual Elks Party! 🤩

With over 100 guests—including participants, families, counselors, and our dedicated Elks members—the energy was incredible. It was wonderful to see so many people get into the holiday spirit by dressing up! The evening was filled with laughter, a delicious dinner, and plenty of dancing. Santa even paid a special visit and surprised every participant with a gift bag! 🎅

Today is the BIG DAY when we support the DDRC (Developmental Disability Resource Center) our neighbors. This is a wonderful organization and I hope you will come by for a beer and some chili (while it lasts) to help them. Mrs. Claus will be reading the Polar Express in the Beer Barn at 2,3 and 4. So bring your little ones for a great experience. Believe Bells, Cookies and Cocoa are provided.
