We'd like to give a Wholehearted welcome to Courtney, the newest member of our team!!

Hello! My name is Courtney, and I am the Administrative Assistant for Wholehearted Connection. I joined the team in January 2026 and am truly honored to be part of a practice that values compassion, connection, and meaningful support. In my role, I enjoy assisting our clinicians and clients and strive to help create a welcoming and supportive experience for everyone who reaches out to our practice.

Later this year, I will be returning to college to pursue my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Continuing my education is an important step in my personal and professional journey, driven by a deep passion for mental health and a strong desire to support others as they navigate their own paths toward healing and growth. Being part of Wholehearted Connection allows me to grow, learn, and contribute to a mission that aligns closely with my values and passion for helping others.

I am grateful for the opportunity to support you on your mental health journey.

Growth in therapy often begins with awareness, compassion, and letting go.
Of patterns that once protected you.
Of expectations that no longer fit.
You don’t have to do that work alone.🩵

😷 Friendly Health Reminder 😷

If you’re feeling sick or experiencing symptoms of illness, we kindly ask that you reschedule your in-person appointment or request a telehealth session instead of coming into the office. This helps protect the health of our clients and team while ensuring you can continue receiving care without interruption.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and supportive environment for everyone.

💙 Friendly Reminder 💙

As we look forward to all of the new that comes with 2026, we’d like to take a moment to send a quick message around billing and insurance. Many insurance plans start over on the first of every year.

To ensure uninterrupted access to your mental health services, please take a moment to review and update your insurance information with our office—especially if you’ve had a recent change in coverage, employer, or plan.

Having current insurance details helps us verify benefits accurately, avoid billing delays, and focus fully on what matters most: your care and progress.

If you’re unsure whether your information is up to date, our team is happy to help. As a reminder, our billing team does their best to estimate and anticipate out of pocket costs for our clients. Should you need a more detailed breakdown of your benefits and costs, we encourage you to contact your insurance carrier directly.

Thank you for partnering with us in keeping your care seamless and stress-free.

💙 New Year, New Awareness 💙

As we step into January, it’s a powerful time to check in on how you’re really feeling after birth.
Not every postpartum mood change is the same, and knowing the difference can help you get the right support:

🔹 Baby Blues: Temporary mood swings, tearfulness, irritability; usually resolve within 2 weeks
🔹 Postpartum Depression (PPD): Persistent sadness, low energy, hopelessness, loss of interest; may last months without treatment
🔹 Postpartum Anxiety (PPA): Excessive worry, racing thoughts, panic; can interfere with daily life

✨ Early recognition leads to earlier support and recovery.

And remember, perinatal mental health conditions can also include OCD, Bipolar Mood Disorders, PTSD, and Psychosis.

💙 You are not alone, and help is available.

If you need support now:
🔷 Call or text the Postpartum Support International HelpLine at 800-944-4773 (no diagnosis needed)
🔷 Call or text the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline at 1-833-852-6262
🔷 In a crisis, call or text 988
🔷 Download the Connect by PSI app
🔷 Visit Postpartum.net for programs and resources

✨ A new year can be the beginning of feeling better.
