Reminder!!
We still have stockings available for anyone that would like to participate in the annual Stockings for Soldiers. You can stop by Peacock Funeral Home and pick up stockings to fill with recommended items and then we will ship them to a soldier overseas for the holidays. Stockings are due back by November 21, 2025 so that we can box them and ship them in a timely manner.

We are still excepting wreath orders for the annual Wreaths Across America Ceremony that will be held on December 13, 2025 at the Fairmount Cemetery. Wreaths are $17.00 each. You can donated money to have a wreath placed on a Veteran's grave following the ceremony or if you have a loved one that was in the military you can order one to be placed on their grave. Last day to order is November 21, 2025.

Good Morning Everyone,

It is that time of year again that we are gearing up for the Wreaths Across America Ceremony and Stockings for Soldiers.

We have stockings that can be picked up and filled with recommended items and brought back to us no later than November 21, 2025 to ensure the delivery of the stockings before Christmas. Stockings are located at 209 South 4th Street.

We are in need of addresses of soldiers serving overseas for the holiday's. If you have a family member or friend from the area that is currently serving and will be overseas for the holiday's and you would like us to send some stockings please give us their name and address for shipping. You can call the office at 719-336-2234 or email us at peacockfuneralhome@gmail.com to give us the information. Please do not send addresses on messenger.

The annual Wreaths Across America Ceremony will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the Fairmount Cemetery. Wreaths can be purchased at our office from now until November 21, 2025. The cost per wreath is $17.00. Wreaths are purchased or donated to be placed on a Veteran's headstone following the annual ceremony.

With the support of our communities we have been able to place a wreath on every headstone in the Veteran's Section at Fairmount Cemetery.

Last year, we assisted the local V.F.W. and American Legion Posts in fundraising for wreaths in the Holly Cemetery for Veteran's. If you are a Holly resident or business in Holly that would like to donate to help purchase wreaths please let us know or reach out to Cal Melcher.

We appreciate the support that our community has given to both of these great causes.
