When shopping for WIC-approved food items, the container size is important. For example, when the WIC Approved Food List states a half gallon container of lactose-free milk is allowed, you won’t be able to use benefits to purchase a 52 oz container of lactose-free milk.
Unsure of the approved size? The WIC Approved Food List is located at https://health.mo.gov/living/families/wic/approved-food-list.php and on the WICShopper app.
