Bighorn Valley Health Center update: PLEASE REFRAIN FROM BRINGING EXTRA PEOPLE TO YOUR CLINIC VISITS.
Although the risk of severe illness may be different for everyone, anyone can get and spread COVID-19. Everyone has a role to play in slowing the spread and protecting themselves, their family, and their community.
As we continue to protect our vulnerable populations, please NOTE that for your protection we will continue to triage patients who present with COVID-19 like symptoms.
Some questions you will be asked when calling to make an appointment will be:
1. Have you or someone close to you recently traveled out of county?
2. Do you have a cough? Shortness of breath? Fever or flu-like symptoms?
3. Have you been in close contact with, or do you live with someone who has these symptoms?
4. Have they (or you) been in contact with anyone who has been confined due to the COVID-19 virus in the last two weeks?
5. Have you come in contact with anyone who has traveled to an area where there are known coronavirus out breaks?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, we ask that you please call before coming to the clinic. When you show up for your appointment, please wait in your car and call the clinic number. They will get your information, (make/model/color of the car you are in and where you are parked) come to meet you and begin the process of getting you inside the building.
This is for your safety and the safety of our community. We thank you for your understanding during this time.
For more information please go to cdc.gov or call your local public health department.
