Our residents had a wonderful Easter Sunday filled with great food, sweet treats, and even sweeter company! 🐣💐

A huge thank you to Robert Turner for the delicious brisket that everyone enjoyed, and a special visit from the Beehive’s very own Easter bunny, Bee Hoppy, who brought smiles and joy to all our residents! 🐰💛

We also had so much fun decorating Easter cookies—getting creative, sharing laughs, and making memories together! 🍪

Days like these make our community feel even more like family. Happy Easter from all of us! 🌷✨

Want to know the fastest way to judge an assisted living community? Stay for lunch. At BeeHive Homes of Texas, we invite every family to pull up a chair and eat with us. Taste the food. Watch the table. See how our residents interact with each other and with our caregivers. That’s when you’ll know this isn’t a facility. It’s a home.

Schedule a tour at your nearest BeeHive Homes location and bring your appetite.

Respite care isn’t just for emergencies. Families come to BeeHive Homes of Texas for respite care when:

💛 The primary caregiver needs rest or has their own health needs
💛 A family event or vacation is coming up
💛 A loved one is transitioning home after a hospital or rehab stay
💛 The family is exploring whether assisted living might be the right next step

During a respite stay, your loved one enjoys the same care, meals, activities, and companionship as our full-time residents — all in a small, residential home that feels like family.

Ask us about availability. We’d love to show you around.

Last Thursday was one to remember! 🎶✨ Dizzi Lamar came and sang for our residents, and it was made even more special when our Activities Director Lilly joined in singing with him! The room was filled with music, smiles, and so much joy as everyone clapped and sang along. ❤️

Moments like these are what it’s all about—connection, laughter, and making memories together!

You wouldn't hand your parent a number and call it care.

Neither would we.

At BeeHive Homes of Texas, your loved one isn't a room assignment — they're family. Small homes. Real meals. Caregivers who know their name, their story, and exactly how they like their morning routine.

This is what elderly care was always supposed to look like.

We had the best time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day together. Lots of smiles, a little green, and plenty of sweet moments shared with friends. Feeling lucky to call this place home 🍀💚

Texas has hundreds of assisted living facilities. Most of them look the same from the inside.
BeeHive Homes is different — and it's different on purpose.
Our homes are small. 8 to 12 residents, not 80. A real kitchen, not a cafeteria. Caregivers who know your loved one's name, their routine, and the little things that matter most. Whether your family is navigating memory care or simply looking for a place where Mom or Dad can live with dignity and real human connection — this is what assisted living should look like.
Come visit. No appointment needed.

Bingo days are always a favorite around here, and today was extra special. Our residents had a great time playing with our new Activities Director, Lilly. There were plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, and lots of smiles all around. We’re so glad to have Lilly bringing fresh energy and fun to our BeeHive family.

Nobody sits down one morning and decides to learn about dementia care. It usually happens the other way around.

Maybe it was the third time Dad drove past his own street. Maybe it was the pause in Mom's sentence that never found its way back. Maybe it was a look in their eyes — just for a second — that told you they were somewhere else entirely.

That moment doesn't come with instructions. But it doesn't have to come with fear, either.

This week on our blog, we're talking about what dementia care actually looks like — and why dignity, not decline, is at the center of everything we do at BeeHive Homes of Texas.

This morning felt extra special as Mr. Jones joined us to sing some of our favorite church hymns. His voice filled the room, and before long, everyone was singing along with smiles on their faces.

There’s something about those old hymns that brings back sweet memories and steady comfort. We’re so thankful for neighbors like Mr. Jones who share their time and talent with our residents. It was a beautiful way to start the day. 💛

When you open my camera roll, it’s not sunsets and selfies, it’s strike poses and sweet cheers from our bowling champs 🎳

POV you’re the director of an assisted living, and your residents are out here living their best lives.

There’s nothing better than seeing those smiles light up the lanes. Moments like this are why we do what we do.

Growing older doesn’t mean slowing down. It just means we celebrate a little louder. 💛
