Meet Poppy, a sweet hunt seat mare who’s been dealing with a lingering right‑hind gait issue after an injury 5–6 years ago. 🐴
Her owner and farrier noticed she was becoming progressively more uncomfortable picking up her hind feet, and she seemed tense and painful when her back and hind legs were handled. Recently, her owner decided it was time to add animal chiropractic care to Poppy’s toolbox.
Through gentle, specific chiropractic adjustments, we focused on restoring motion in restricted joints so her body can move more freely and compensate less. Many horses with chronic hind‑limb issues experience improved comfort, range of motion, and overall performance when back pain and stiffness are addressed.
If your horse has a “hitch in their giddy‑up,” is difficult for the farrier, or just doesn’t feel quite right under saddle, animal chiropractic care may be a great addition to their routine—alongside regular veterinary and farrier work.

We recently had the pleasure of meeting Blaze, and what a guy he is!

He’s a fantastic farm dog who takes his job herding cattle – and being man’s best friend – very seriously. 🐾 Out in the fields he’s all focus and work ethic, but in the clinic he’s calm, gentle, and incredibly well behaved, which makes him a joy to adjust and a perfect example of what good care and a strong bond can do.

I grew up with a border collie myself, and while every animal is special, border collies will always hold a special place in my heart for their intelligence, sensitivity, and eagerness to work right by our side.

So grateful for Blaze and all the hardworking farm dogs who come to Primal Chiropractic to stay comfortable, move well, and keep doing the jobs they love for years to come.

Meet Montana 🐾
Montana is an 11-year-old sweetheart who came to see us after a previous ACL injury. Her visits focus on keeping her hips comfortable, her mobility strong, and her tail wagging for as long as possible!

Animal chiropractic care can be especially helpful for pets like Montana who:
• Have a history of orthopedic injuries (ACL/CCL tears, fractures, or surgeries).
• Are slowing down with age, having trouble with stairs, jumping into the car, or getting on the couch.
