1. Nurse or pump more often
• Milk production is demand-driven. Aim for 8+ removals per day
2. Add a power pumping session
• Mimics cluster feeding.
• Example: pump 20 min → rest 10 → pump 10 → rest 10 → pump 10.
3. Don’t wait until breasts feel full
• Emptying the breast frequently signals the body to produce more.
4. Use a high-quality pump
• Hospital-grade pumps are most effective for boosting supply.
5. Pump after feeds
• Even if little milk comes out, the extra stimulation tells your body to make more.
6. Breast compressions while pumping or nursing
• Helps remove more milk, which stimulates more production.
7. Make SURE you have the right fl**ge size.
8. Stay well-hydrated and eat enough calories
• Milk production requires extra fluids. Use electrolytes and eat all the protein!
