We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SUD Housing Lead with a valid LCDC II or higher certification to oversee housing services for individuals with substance use disorders. This role involves providing clinical leadership, coordinating treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with housing and clinical standards.
The Housing Lead oversees day-to-day housing operations, ensuring that residents’ housing and clinical needs are consistently monitored and addressed. This role provides direct services to individual housing clients, supports housing staff, maintains program compliance, performs routine housing checks, and co-facilitates weekend groups. The Housing Lead works closely with clients, staff, and clinical teams to promote a safe, stable, and supportive living environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate housing services for clients with substance use disorders, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and recovery goals.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and behavioral health screenings.
Provide individual and group counseling utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy.
Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols.
Document all clinical interactions accurately in medical records, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated care plans, including addiction counseling, mental health counseling, and case management.
Support clients in developing life skills related to home & community care, social work principles, and behavior management strategies.
Maintain current knowledge of research developments in addiction medicine, PTSD care, and behavioral health to inform best practices.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to medical records, patient privacy, and healthcare documentation.
Education, License(s) & Training Requirements
Valid LCDC II or higher certification required; licensure must be current and in good standing.
Extensive experience in behavioral health settings
Proficiency in psychotherapy modalities including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), and group therapy facilitation.
Strong background in crisis intervention, crisis management, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and case management.
Excellent communication skills for patient care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Ability to handle sensitive situations involving mental health counseling, trauma-informed care, and addiction medicine with professionalism and compassion. This role is integral to providing comprehensive support for individuals on their recovery journey while ensuring high-quality clinical standards are maintained across all services delivered.
Qualifications:
Experience in housing services, residential programs, behavioral health, or social services required.
Strong communication, crisis intervention, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide direct services to individuals with varying needs and backgrounds.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work weekends for group facilitation and housing coverage.
Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
