👁️ Your eyes are pretty incredible!

This video highlights one of the amazing parts of the eye and how everything works together to help you see the world clearly. From focusing light to sending signals to your brain, your eyes are constantly working behind the scenes.

The thing is—many vision and eye health problems don’t have obvious symptoms early on. That’s why routine comprehensive eye exams are so important. An exam doesn’t just check if you need new glasses or contacts, it also allows us to check the overall health of your eyes and catch potential problems early.

👓 If it’s been a while since your last eye exam, this is your sign to schedule one!

📞 Give our office a call or message us today to book your appointment and keep your vision at its best. Your eyes deserve it! ✨

Looks like the chicken rivalry has officially made its way into our waiting room! 🐔👀

Today we had a special visitor from Raising Cane’s who stopped by and dropped off some awesome promo packs for our team. Our office manager, Skelli and their fluffy assistant wasted no time diving into the Cane’s menu while we debated the age-old question…

Team Chick-fil-A or Team Cane’s? 🤔

No matter which side you’re on, we’re just happy to keep everyone seeing clearly enough to read the menu! 👓

Thanks for stopping by and sharing the chicken love with our office! ❤️

👁️✨ Ever wonder how we actually see the world around us?

Vision starts with light. When light enters the eye, it passes through the cornea and lens, which focus it onto the retina in the back of the eye. The retina then converts that light into signals that travel through the optic nerve to the brain — and that’s when the image you’re looking at truly comes to life!

It’s an amazing process that happens every second of the day without us even thinking about it.

At our office, we check every part of this system to make sure your eyes are focusing light properly and your vision stays as clear and healthy as possible. Regular eye exams help us catch small problems before they become bigger ones.

Think your cataracts can be "cured" with eye drops? Think again! 🧐

There’s a lot of misinformation out there, but here is the reality: Eye drops and medications cannot remove or reverse cataracts. The only way to effectively treat a cataract and restore clear vision is through surgery, where the clouded lens is replaced with a clear, artificial one.

If you’re noticing changes in your vision, don't rely on over-the-counter remedies—schedule an appointment with your eye care professional to get the facts for your specific needs. 👁️✨

Why Your Eyes Need a Night Off 😴

Did you know that your cornea is the only part of your body that gets its oxygen directly from the air? When you sleep in contact lenses, you're essentially putting a "mask" over your eyes, cutting off that vital oxygen supply.

Even "extended wear" lenses can benefit from a break. Removing your lenses before bed:

👁️‍🗨️Prevents bacteria buildup that can lead to ulcers.

👁️‍🗨️Reduces dryness for the next day.

👁️‍🗨️Keeps your vision sharp and your corneas healthy.

Don't forget to remove those lenses before heading to bed tonight! Your future self will thank you. 💤
