We are so excited to welcome Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, Elizabeth Siclari to the Artemis Behavioral Health Team! Elizabeth is not only a registered art therapist, but is also trained in EMDR and is a level two clinical trauma professional (CCTP-II). We think her mix of experience with treating trauma and utilizing creativity to foster healing will be a great compliment to what we already offer. She is already accepting new clients in Williamsville, Amherst or via Telehealth from anywhere in New York State. We are thrilled to have you, Liz! ✨

How about some silly snoots for your Thursday!? Janet, Tommy and I had an amazing summer meeting new friends and healing some old wounds. I cannot begin to describe what an honor it has been to see how these remarkable animals show up for my clients. They are so generous and seem to really be loving their new roles as therapy partners. As we move into a busy fall and back to school season, they continue to have peace to share, wisdom to offer, and love to give. ✨ We love having these noses to boop when things get hectic!

Always a beautiful way to start my workday! ✨ It has been almost a month since I launched my Equine Assisted Therapy offerings at Artemis Behavioral Health, and it has been a joy to share the peace of the barn with my clients in our sessions. Tommy in particular has proven to be a natural at offering both levity and comfort in some of the toughest moments. It’s nothing short of a complete honor to share the therapy space with these beautiful animals. 🐴

It’s national small business day!

It’s hard to explain my sense of wonder sometimes that I’ve been able to create and shape this business of mine. Being a small business owner is not easy, but it’s also one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.
