Is Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) a tattoo? Yes, technically. The procedure is extremely methodical and far less invasive than a standard tattoo.

How long does SMP last? Scalp Micropigmentation is permanent, so it will last forever. However, it may lighten over time and a touch-up may be needed.

Will SMP help my hair grow back? No. Scalp Micropigmentation will not make your hair grow back as it is a tattoo that mimics hair follicles, not a hair transplant procedure.
