Being in Wisconsin, we couldn’t let this day pass without celebrating one of our favorite things… cheese!

We had the pleasure of dropping off cheese trays to a few of the businesses we consider the true “Big Cheese” in our community. Thank you for all you do to make our community such a wonderful place to live and work.

A special thank you to Bloomington Meats II LLC for creating the most delicious cheese trays, they were a hit!

Happy National Cheese Day!

Pre-planning is one of the deepest gestures of love, a way to hold your family close, even when you can’t be there in person. By writing down your wishes, you give them the priceless gifts of clarity, comfort, and peace during one of life’s most difficult moments.
When you feel ready to take that tender step and discuss pre-planning, reach out to Kramer-Grau Funeral Homes & Crematory at (608) 723-4500. We are here to gently guide you through pre-planning with care and compassion.

Proudly Serving Area Families

Martin Schwartz Funeral Homes & Crematory encompasses over 130 years of family and traditions. The Schwartz Funeral Home in Lancaster began as Goble & Son in 1882 and in 1956 was purchased by John and Margaret O'Rourke. In 1986, the O'Rourke funeral home was purchased by Terrence A. Schwartz. He and his partner, Gregory R. Martin, consolidated the funeral homes into Martin Schwartz Funeral Homes & Crematory, in 2001.

In 2016 our new Facility, Martin Schwartz Funeral Homes & Crematory in Lancaster opened. We now have our own on site crematory. We currently have the largest funeral home chapel and parking lot in Grant County. In addition, our gathering room can accommodate catered funeral dinners.
