Gwella Rheumatology welcomes James Wright, PA. Jim completed his physician Assistant degree at Marietta College in 2004 and has worked with Dr. Ott since 2018. Jim has previously worked extensively in Orthopedics and Physical Medicine. Prior to becoming a PA, Jim worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Sports Medicine. He uses his professional experiences to aid patients in establishing customized home exercise programs to address their specific condition.
Jim is a veteran of the US Army and continues to serve in the Ohio Air National Guard. He is married to Dana, and they have two children.

Dr. Ott was born in south central Ohio and grew up in the rolling hills outside of Circleville, Ohio. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Microbiology from Ohio State University (OSU) and her Master's in Water Resource Administration from the University of New Mexico (UNM). She worked as a supervisor in a research laboratory at UNM School of Medicine where she then matriculated into the School of Medicine, completing her medical degree and Internal Medicine Residency training. She completed her fellowship in Rheumatology at OSU and is a Fellow in the American College of Rheumatology and the American College of Physicians.
