Happy National Love Your Pet Day to our special boy Arlo! 🐾❤

Arlo, a certified therapy dog, comes to work each day with his mom, Director of Nursing Sierra. Residents and staff recently helped Arlo celebrate his 4th birthday with cupcakes and ice cream. Don't worry, Arlo got his very own peanut butter flavored ice cream with a candle-shaped treat! 🧁🍨🎉

Arlo is such a good boy at work, and loves to visit all the residents. If you see him at the facility, please feel free to give him some good pets. 🐶

National Activities Professionals Week was totally "Wicked." 🌈

Residents started off the week with one of our favorite activities, "Word Game." Using the letters from "Activity Professionals Week,"residents came up with new words. We got over 200 words! Can you come up with words we missed? 🅰️

Staff enjoyed a Pasta Buffet Lunch provided by our Activity Director to celebrate because everyone is vital to our activities being successful. We ended the week with cake pops and the movie, "Wicked: Part 1." 🎬

Residents wanted to know what happened next in the movie. We had discussions about how not everything/everyone is how they seem and to not judge a book by its cover. Residents look forward to watching the second part very soon! 📕
