Last Friday was National Gingerbread House Day! These ladies had a blast decorating their little festive houses. We had hot chocolate brewing in the crockpot and reminisced about traditions we had growing up.
If you would like to try our delicious hot chocolate recipe, here it is:
6 cups of whole milk (OR 3 cups whole milk and 3 cups ยฝ & ยฝ)
2 cans of evaporated milk (12 oz. Cans)
2 cups of heavy whipping cream
2 tsp of vanilla extract
3 cups of chocolate chips (we use semi-sweet)
And a dash of mint extract for an extra festive twist!
You can dump this all in your crock pot on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until melted and enjoy with some whipped cream on top.
