Residents and staff enjoyed a fall harvest meal together. Residents discussed with our Activity Director things that they are thankful for and blessed with. We even had a special visit from Albuquerque the Turkey!

Interim Administrator Gail is such a wonderful supporter of the fantastic and fun events we have at Lancaster Health Services.

Today is Mickey Mouse's birthday! Residents wore Mickey and Minnie ears while discussing the history of Mickey and memories of Mickey and visiting Disney World and Disneyland. Happy 97th birthday to the big mouse himself! 🎉🐭

Today, we pause to honor and thank all the brave men and women who have served in our Armed Forces. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication have protected the freedoms we cherish every day.

To our Veterans — and to the families who stand beside them — thank you. Your strength and support make our nation stronger. We are forever grateful for your service and the sacrifices you’ve made for our country.

We hosted a small luncheon and ceremony for our Veterans to acknowledge their service. Some of our ladies assisted in setting up the tables and center pieces.

Thank you to St. Croix Hospice for providing our Veterans with lapel pins, and a thank you to Snug as a Bug Child Care Center for making and delivering handmade crafts for our residents.

Residents wore blue in honor of Diabetes Awareness Month. Blue is the official color symbolizing unity and hope for those affected by diabetes. Wearing blue is an easy way to show support, raise awareness, and spark conversations about the disease. 💙

We are in need of baked good donations to sell at our craft market. Items can be dropped off at the center in disposable containers or individually wrapped the mornings of November 13 and November 14. All bake sale proceeds support our Resident Council to fund entertainment activities for residents.

Happy Halloween from Lancaster Health Services! We had a blast during our visit from Maple Street Kids Daycare, Inc. and Preschool for trick-or-treating. Residents loved seeing the little kids all dressed up for the holiday and they even recited Halloween poems. 🎃

Residents and staff enjoyed dressing up too! We had witches, a cowgirl, a cute crab, a pirate, a hot dog with a chef, a disco lady, a black cat, and a Purple People Eater. 👨‍🍳☠🌭

Everyone was feeling a little WICKED today for National Wicked Day. Residents and staff joined a coven of witches and were flying high with positivity. Happy Halloween! 🎃🍬👻
