🚓🚑🚒 Thank You to Our Local Heroes! 🚒🚑🚓

This morning at Reflections Retirement Community, we had the honor of hosting our First Responders Breakfast as a small way to say thank you to the incredible men and women who serve and protect our community every day.

From early mornings to long nights, these heroes show up when we need them most. It was our privilege to serve them breakfast, share some smiles, and let them know how much they are appreciated by our residents and team.

To all of our police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and emergency personnel — thank you for your dedication, bravery, and commitment to keeping our community safe. ❤️

Some of our visitors today were a little scaly, a little fuzzy, and definitely fascinating! 🐍🦎🐀

Our residents and staff had a wonderful time meeting and learning about some very unique pets — including snakes, hairless rats, geckos, and several other interesting animals that many of us don’t get to see every day. There were plenty of surprised smiles, curious questions, and even a few brave hands willing to hold them!

At Reflections Retirement Community, we love bringing new experiences into our community. Today was full of laughter, learning, and a few “I never thought I’d hold one of those!” moments.

Thank you to our special animal friends and their handler for giving us such a fun and memorable visit! ❤️

From silly hats to smiles so wide,
Our residents and staff enjoyed the ride!
With laughter, stories, and Seuss-tastic cheer,
It’s safe to say the fun was in full gear!

Today our Reflections family lost someone very special. 💔

Loreene was more than a housekeeper here at Reflections — for 12 years she was a friend, a familiar smile in the hallways, and someone our residents truly loved and looked forward to seeing each day. The rooms she cleaned were filled with laughter, conversations, and genuine care for every resident she served.

Loreene will be missed every single day by the residents and staff who were blessed to know her. But I find comfort in picturing her walking through those pearly gates and into Fred’s arms, after missing him for so many years.

Rest easy, Loreene. Your kindness, humor, and the love you shared with this community will never be forgotten. ❤️

Yesterday afternoon at Reflections Retirement Community, we were living large at our Roaring 20s party — and it was the bee’s knees! 🖤✨

Feathers, fringe, fedoras, and plenty of laughter filled the room as our residents stepped back in time. 💃🕺

And of course, we served our signature Bee’s Knees drink — without the stinger 🍯🍋 — sweet, refreshing, and full of 1920s charm.

Proof that at Reflections… a little sparkle and a lot of fun never go out of style. ✨

☀️🌴 Breaking Cabin Fever – Beach Party Style! 🌴☀️

Who says you need an ocean to have a beach day?! 🏖️ Today at Reflections Retirement Community, we turned up the sunshine and broke that cabin fever in the BEST way possible!

Our residents had an absolute blast creating colorful sand art 🎨, enjoying great music 🎶, casting a line for some “fishing” fun 🎣, showing off their skills in the limbo 🕺, and competing in ring toss and other beachy games! 🌊

The laughter was loud, the smiles were bright, and the tropical vibes were strong! 🌺🍍 Days like this remind us that joy doesn’t depend on the weather outside — we create our own sunshine right here at Reflections.

Exciting day ahead as we kick off Phase 2 of our Olympics games! Get ready for some fierce competition featuring the 100 meter Run—where speed meets strategy as you pull that newspaper under your chair before your opponent! Next up, we have Lash Extensions, a true test of precision as you try to remove those post-its from your lashes without any hands. Don’t forget about our curling event, where teamwork is key; who will be first to get six curlers styled in our housekeeper and Activity Director’s hair? And finally, show off your throwing skills in Stick It To Ya, where the goal is to score big on the velcro board! Let the games begin, and may the best team win! 🥇💪🎉
