Located between Charlotte, North Carolina and Lancaster, South Carolina, Rebound Behavioral Health is a 42 bed hospital that provides inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment for adults aged 18 years or older. Focusing on the strengths, values, and unique needs of each patient, the programs offered at Rebound aim to promote recovery from patients’ initial stabilization to discharge and beyond. This comprehensive approach to programming is proven to be effective in treating mental illnesses and chemical dependency issues. Furthermore, Rebound’s programs are group-focused, so patients are able to learn from other patients who are also navigating through the recovery process. This additional aspect of Rebound’s programs, in conjunction with ongoing support from expert staff, is what makes Rebound an extremely encouraging place to work on healing.

🌟 Inside Rebound: Staff Spotlight 🌟

In recognition of National Nutrition Month, we are proud to spotlight Beth Griffith MS RDN CSG, LDN, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist at Rebound Behavioral Health Hospital.

With more than 30 years of experience across acute care, long-term healthcare, and behavioral health, Beth brings deep expertise and a patient-centered approach to her role. She specializes in geriatric nutrition and was the first Board Certified Specialist in Geriatric Nutrition in the Carolinas, a milestone that reflects her commitment to advancing the field.

Beth holds a master’s degree in human nutrition from Winthrop University and completed her dietetic internship at Dorn VA Hospital. She has also been recognized for her leadership and professional impact, having been nominated by the South Carolina Governor and appointed by the State Senate to serve on the Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation’s Panel of Dietetics.

At Rebound, Beth is passionate about helping patients set meaningful goals, overcome barriers, and build healthier relationships with food and wellness. She believes nutrition is a powerful part of recovery and overall well-being.

Outside of work, Beth enjoys traveling and is already planning her next adventure — whale watching in Nova Scotia for her birthday.

🌟 Inside Rebound: Leadership Spotlight 🌟

We are proud to introduce Jason Silvia, Chief Executive Officer of Rebound Behavioral Health Hospital.

Jason brings more than 18 years of progressive leadership experience across the behavioral health continuum, with a career rooted in service, advocacy, and program development for vulnerable populations. His work has consistently focused on building systems of care that are compassionate, accountable, and outcomes driven.

He began his career working with adolescents at the Robert Shell Juvenile Detention Center, helping young people process trauma and build healthier coping strategies. Jason later served as a Therapeutic Mentor supporting underserved youth in urban communities and contributed to su***de prevention initiatives through his service on the Executive Board of Samaritans.

As a Licensed Social Worker with the Department of Children and Families, Jason developed deep expertise in crisis intervention, family systems, and multidisciplinary collaboration while advocating for the safety and well-being of children and families.

Today, Jason leads Rebound with a strong focus on operational excellence, workforce development, and creating therapeutic environments where dignity, safety, and measurable outcomes guide every decision. He is passionate about strengthening behavioral health services and ensuring every patient and family receives the highest level of care and respect.

At Rebound, leadership starts with compassion — and we are honored to have Jason guiding our mission forward.
