Today's the day! We're GOING PURPLE for Sarcoidosis Awareness, and the pics are rolling in! 💜📸

Mark’s Imprint was founded in memory of Mark Trumm to raise awareness, support research, and educate communities about this often misunderstood disease. Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory condition that causes tiny collections of cells, called granulomas, to form in the body - most commonly affecting the lungs. Symptoms can include fatigue, shortness of breath, persistent cough and pain.

📲 We encourage you to take a few minutes to visit their website and learn something new ➡ https://marksimprint.org/
👉 Or stop by one of our purple stations at GRHC and take some information. Knowledge is power, and it could save a life. 💜

Thank you to the dedicated individuals working on Mark's Imprint, for their dedication to spreading this information and more in memory of Mark. 💜

In 2023, five deaths in Grant County were attributed to drug overdose. Statewide, 1 in 8 Wisconsin residents were prescribed opioids in the past year. Opioids are common medications, and using them safely matters. 🚨

Working alongside Unified Community Services, we’re expanding access to naloxone (Narcan®) in our community. Naloxone is a medication that can reverse an opioid overdose. Opioids can be effective when used as prescribed, but they still carry risk. Naloxone is a practical safety tool that allows someone nearby to respond quickly in an emergency, especially important in rural areas where response times may be longer.
