Today, we’re proud to celebrate one of the many volunteers who make our mission stronger, Board President Matt Wideman.

As Executive Vice President of Fairfield Federal Savings and Loan, Matt brings leadership and dedication to everything he does. His service as an attorney for the City of Lancaster and his time in the Ohio National Guard reflect a deep commitment to community and country.

What truly sets Matt apart is how he shows up for others. Through his volunteer work with the Next Chapter Book Club, he supports individuals with developmental disabilities in building connections, confidence, and a love of learning. As Board President, he helps guide our organization forward with purpose and heart, showing an unwavering commitment to Fairfield DD’s mission and staff.

Matt, thank you for sharing your time, talents, and passion with Fairfield DD. You are making a meaningful difference every day, and we are grateful. 💙

Heads up, members! 👋

Effective immediately, the sensory gym key must be checked out at the front desk—just like racquetball.

🔑 When using the sensory gym:
• Stop by the front desk to check out the key
• Be sure to fully fill out the sign-out sheet when taking the key

With that being said, the Sensory Gym will be open during regular hours and not just specific hours!
Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly and making the space accessible for everyone!

✨ Many years ago, a little library was placed along the sensory trail at Forest Rose School. After years of love and use, it was ready for a refresh, and two incredible families stepped up in a big way!

The Roth family, whose daughter is a Forest Rose preschool alum and whose son, Sammy, is a current preschooler, built our beautiful new little library. Then the Yzenski family, also with a current preschooler, generously installed it for our community.

Now it’s bigger, brighter, and ready to hold even more books for everyone to enjoy. 📚💛

A huge thank‑you to both families for your kindness and craftsmanship!
