Yesterday for Earth Day, Fairfield DD staff cared for our adopted section of the bike path by cleaning up litter and helping keep it welcoming for everyone who uses it.

Small actions like this help make a big difference in our community.

Tonight’s National Volunteer Month shoutout goes to Jessica Roth! 💫

Jessica is an Intervention Specialist with 13 years of experience supporting students with disabilities. She’s developed curricula, presented at OCALI, and continues to advocate for students who live and learn differently.

We’re incredibly grateful to have her on the Fairfield DD Board and so proud of the impact she makes in our schools and community. 🎉

We are celebrating Pam today for National Volunteer Month! 🎉

Currently serving as a Fairfield DD Board Member, Pam spent many years serving our community at the Fairfield County Juvenile and Probate Court and even in retirement still gives back! Pam's passion for the Fairfield DD mission and supporting families throughout life comes from her commitment to her family as a parent within the system.

We’re so grateful for her heart, her energy, and her commitment to our community.✨

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to come together and promote the safety and well‑being of children across our communities. In Ohio, we show our support by wearing blue on the second Wednesday of April. 💙💙

Today Fairfield DD Staff joined the rest of Ohio in raising awareness by wearing blue, and their participation helps shine a light on prevention and the importance of protecting children. 💙💙

Today, we’re proud to celebrate one of the many volunteers who make our mission stronger, Board President Matt Wideman.

As Executive Vice President of Fairfield Federal Savings and Loan, Matt brings leadership and dedication to everything he does. His service as an attorney for the City of Lancaster and his time in the Ohio National Guard reflect a deep commitment to community and country.

What truly sets Matt apart is how he shows up for others. Through his volunteer work with the Next Chapter Book Club, he supports individuals with developmental disabilities in building connections, confidence, and a love of learning. As Board President, he helps guide our organization forward with purpose and heart, showing an unwavering commitment to Fairfield DD’s mission and staff.

Matt, thank you for sharing your time, talents, and passion with Fairfield DD. You are making a meaningful difference every day, and we are grateful. 💙
