Albright LIFE Lancaster Albright LIFE (Living Independently for Elders) helps seniors continue living at home by providing comprehensive health services.

Albright LIFE is where seniors go to thrive so they can stay in their homes as long as possible. Participants have the opportunity to come during the day for social activities, therapy and nutritional meals to keep their bodies and minds healthy and active. LIFE is comprised of dedicated professionals, caregivers and an on-site physician who provide a high level of all-inclusive onsite expert care as participants need it. Funding may be provided by Medicare, Medicaid, Long Term Care Insurance or private resources and participants must live in the service area of the LIFE Center, be 55+ and nursing home eligible. National Hispanic Heritage Month

This Spanish Heritage month we are highlighting onf of our own:

1.Where are you originally from?
Puerto Rico (Island in the Caribbean)

2. What is your favorite Spanish tradition?
Spanish Christmas because of all the food!

3. What is your favorite dish that reminds you of home?
Sancocho Stew is her favoirte food to make. Puerto RIcan comfort in a bowl.

4. What do you hope others learn about Spanish cultures during this special month?
The hardships of living in Puerto Rico. She would love if people would learn her language like she learned English to be able to communicate with others more.

This past Friday, we were honored to welcome Rep. Nikki Rivera of the 96th District, Pennsylvania House of Representatives, along with Francis Miliano, Senior District Office Director and Back to School Event Coordinator, to Albright LIFE Lancaster.

During their visit, Rep. Rivera and her team toured our center, learned more about our mission, and saw firsthand how the LIFE program supports dual-eligible seniors across Pennsylvania.

We are grateful for their time, interest, and thoughtful conversation about the importance of community-based care and resources for older adults. Thank you for visiting—we look forward to continuing this important dialogue!
