Fairfield County ADAMH Board The ADAMH Board is responsible for planning, funding, and monitoring of mental health, addiction, and recovery services in Fairfield County.

The Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health (ADAMH) Board funds and supports community agencies to provide valuable services to citizens -- from infants to seniors. ADAMH ensures that our local funding stays local and addresses the unique needs of Fairfield County. As a founding member of the Fairfield County Opiate Task Force, ADAMH continues to promote drug education, treatment, and personal responsibility.

New Horizons Mental Health Services is now part of the OhioGuidestone family!


OhioGuidestone is directly hiring New Horizons staff and offering continuity of care with current New Horizons clients to ensure a seamless transition and uninterrupted behavioral health care in Fairfield County starting April 30, 2026.

Through this transition, OhioGuidestone will add new services and programming to our existing services currently offered in Lancaster, Ohio – including supported employment services, new court programs, adult mobile crisis care, and, in partnership with Allwell Behavioral Health, Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) in Fairfield and Perry Counties.

The Fairfield County ADAMH Board has been spreading the news to businesses in Fairfield County about the benefits of being a Recovery Friendly Workplace. Partnering with other counties working towards the same goal, Miranda Gray with the Fairfield County ADAMH Board presents at the Ohio Recovery Housing Conference today in Columbus.
Smurfit Westrock in Lancaster is a certified Recovery Friendly Workplace and will be receiving a Friends of ADAMH Award at the upcoming Friends of ADAMH Annual Awards and Fundraising Dinner on April 28 in Pickerington this year.
