The Lighthouse Domestic Violence Program is raising funds to provide for individuals experiencing abuse. You can enjoy dinner while helping them on their mission. Visit Bob Evans in Lancaster this evening between 4 PM and 8 PM and 15% of the net sales will go to benefit the Lighthouse! Make sure you show this flyer at checkout.

Fight Stigma Friday! In November there is a global monthlong event referred to as Movember: where men grow mustaches to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues like prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's su***de. No population is excluded from mental health issues. Let's support men and everyone on their journey and break the stigma together - not just in Movember (November) but every day!

What's up Wednesday! The Fairfield County ADAMH Board partnered with Chess Health to provide some amazing resources. Take the self-assessment to see if alcohol is impacting your health. Use the Connection App for support if you have a substance use disorder or co-occurring mental health condition. The Companion App provides supportive online resources for friends and family members supporting loved ones on their recovery journeys. The holidays are quickly approaching and Fairfield County 2-1-1 does a wonderful job ensuring many Fairfield County residents in need don't go without. Use the link below for holiday assistance.

The holiday season should be a time of joy, not stress. If you or someone you know in Fairfield County could use a little extra help this season, we’re here to connect you with the right support.

From Thanksgiving food boxes to Christmas meals and gift programs for children (ages 0–17), there are local resources available to help brighten the season.

To qualify for most programs, you’ll typically need:
🔹Proof of Fairfield County residency
🔹A child under 18 in the household
🔹 Photo ID and proof of address for all household members
🔹No duplicate applications to similar programs

Some programs, like Charity Newsies and Chelsea’s Christmas, may have their own forms and deadlines. You can pick up or drop off applications at our office (108 W. Main St., Lancaster), or submit them by email, fax, or even Facebook message.

The Fairfield County ADAMH Board Members - 14 strong - along with Marcy Fields, Fairfield County ADAMH Director, focused on the results of the community needs assessment this past week at a strategic planning meeting facilitated by Liz Henrich, Chief Executive Officer with the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities (OACBHA). These individuals donate hours of their time to ensure the mental health and substance use needs of Fairfield County are being addressed.
