Lancaster Kennel Club Supports The Ephrata Police Department - Lancaster Kennel Club recently donated $1000 to the Ephrata Police Department to support their establishment of a K9 Unit. In addition, Lancaster Kennel Club was also the sponsoring club for the Department to submit and receive an $8500 Adopt-A-Cop grant from AKC Reunite to help fund procurement of a dog, associated equipment, and training for the K9 Officer and its handler. The dog is expected to be available to the department by September and be on the streets by the end of 2026. To find out more about the AKC Reunite Adopt A Cop program visit

An amendment to the House Farm Bill (HR 7567) proposed by animal rights groups threatens the future of AKC performance events and recognized hunt training techniques.

Please join AKC and leading sportsmen’s organizations in defending responsible dog enthusiasts, sportsmen and trainers. Please contact your member of the U.S. Congress and respectfully ask Congress to remove language derived from the “Greyhound Protection Act of 2025” (HR 5017) from the Farm Bill before final passage.

Thank You To Lebanon County Commissioners Hotel Tax Grant Fund For Being The Major Sponsor Of The Red Rose Classic All Breed Dog Show and Rally Trials May 8 and 9, 2026 at the Lebanon Valley Exposition Center & Fairgrounds

The Hotel Tax Grant Fund is administered by the Lebanon County Commissioners. Grants are awarded to organizations that bring visitors to Lebanon County. Judging and Rally Trials begin at 8:30 AM on Saturday. Friday's Rally Trial begins at 1 PM. Show admission is free but there is a $5 per car parking charge for all attendees on Saturday only. .

P*e Wee Class Special Attraction At The Red Rose Classic Saturday, May 9 at the Lebanon Expo Center - Is your child interested in trying handling a dog in the show ring? We are offering a P*e Wee Class at our show. If you don't have a dog, LKC members are ready to step up and provide a dog so your child can give it a try - All registration information is on page 5 of the Premium which can be downloaded at https://www.raudogshows.com/upcoming-shows/

The registration information also is below. Deadline to enter is Friday, April 24. This is for children between ages 5 - 9 and the event is free of charge to entrants. Hope to see you at the show!
