We spent the morning honoring veterans for their selfless sacrifice and dedication, whose bravery keeps our freedoms protected. 🇺🇸

The ceremony was heartfelt and emotional, featuring a beautiful tribute, poem, and patriotic songs like “God Bless America,” “America the Beautiful,” “My Country 'Tis of Thee”, and “Anchors Aweigh.”

Each veteran was recognized with a pinning ceremony and a certificate of appreciation, and we also honored their spouses, children, and parents.

A big thank-you to Jennifer Wolfe with AccentCare for sponsoring this special celebration for the amazing veterans. 💙

We had a fantastic time decorating pumpkins, enjoying movies in the theater, popcorn, and homemade Kit Kat bars! 🎃🍿

Every pumpkin was creative and unique, making it a tough vote for residents and staff alike.

Resident winners: Nina (1st) and Kathy (2nd); Staff winners: Meghann, Roman, and Jess with “Eye Candy” (1st) and Shan’e, Derisha, and Jayda with “Outer Space Invasion” (2nd).

We’re enjoying the start of fall and the creativity it has inspired! 🍂

With Halloween just around the corner, residents created some fun “Halloween Art” using old jeans, frames, flowers, and other materials. Some even made multiple versions of their designs, showing off their imagination and skill.

Best of all, we loved spending time together, encouraging each other, sharing laughs, and making wonderful memories! 🎃💛

Congratulations to our new Resident Ambassadors, Nina and Kathy! 🌟

These amazing ladies greet every new resident with warmth and care, making everyone feel at home.

They lead our PB&J project, devotions, hymn sing, Fabulous Florists, and Tasty Tuesdays, bringing creativity and joy to our community.

We are truly blessed to have their friendship, leadership, and dedication here with us! 💛

For National Assisted Living Week, residents shared what surprised them most about assisted living — the sense of community, the comfort of tailored care, meaningful connections, truly feeling at home, and having more fun each day.
